Hidden Secrets Series

Hidden Secrets is the first series in a large body of work combining the use of photography and furniture. The series consists of several self-portraits, where the body was forced to fit into spaces that were too small. The places are familiar, places where one may have hid as a child. The places seemed bigger then, but they are now frighteningly small.

This work, based on personal experience and childhood memories, examines body image and reflects a constant struggle to blend in.
